Highlights

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 was launched in India in March, 2015 and went on to receive 3,500 bookings in just 1 month, so overwhelming was the response it received in the Indian market. The 'fastest pulsar yet', the RS200 was launched in 2 versions - non-ABS and ABS, priced at Rs. 1.18 lakh and Rs. 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.

Turns out, the ABS variant is the favourite out of the two in spite of the fact that it costs Rs. 12,000 more than the non-ABS. Eric Vas, President - Motorcycle Business, Bajaj Auto, said that over 50 per cent of the bike's customers have opted for the ABS variant.

The RS200 is based on the Pulsar 200NS, though it shares its design with the SS400 concept, which was showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. It is powered by the same 199.5cc engine that does duty on the NS200, though the company has tuned it for more power on the RS200. This 4-valve, triple spark, DTSi engine churns out 24.16bhp and 18.6Nm. The engine helps the bike attain a top-speed of 141Km/h.
