- India launch in August 2021
- Three models in the Chief line-up; Chief, Chief Bobber & Super Chief
Indian Motorcycle has teased the BS6 Indian Chief Bobber on its social media handles. Indian Motorcycle hasn't had a new launch in India since the BS6 emission norms came into play from April 2020. But the company says that it will launch the 2022 range of Indian Chief motorcycles and the Indian FTR 1200 range in India by August 2021. The new Indian Chief, Indian Chief Bobber and Indian Super Chief are based on the same new platform and offer slightly different flavours of the classic American V-twin, with each positioned to cater to the tastes of a different rider. All three bikes in the Chief line-up have slightly different ergonomics, but based on the same basic engine and frame.

The Indian Chief line-up will also get standard cruise control, and three riding modes, sport, standard, or tour.
