The 'compact family wagon' can be pre-booked at any Nissan dealership with a fully refundable amount of Rs 11,000. The company will give free "Welcome Pack" to first few customers. Measuring 3995mm in length, the GO+ will be the country's first sub-compact MPV.

Making the announcement, Guillaume Sicard, President - Nissan India Operations, said, "We are happy to offer our latest product Datsun GO+, a segment-creating Compact MPV to customers in India. The Datsun GO+ is our second product in the market after the Datsun GO and reiterates our commitment to India."
"The Datsun brand stands for affordable mobility and the Datsun GO+ is a product for those families who prefer a bigger vehicle for both in-city and long distance travel for work as well as leisure. We opened pre-bookings today for customers who would like to be the early ones to own the new Datsun", he added.
Based on the GO hatchback, the sub-compact MPV shares components and features with the former. The only difference between the two car is the last row of seats given to the MPV. Powering the GO+ will be the same engine, 1.2-litre petrol, that does duty on its hatchback sibling.
Expected to be priced around Rs 4 lakh, the GO+ will also become the most affordable MPV in India.
