Eicher Trucks And Buses Get Eicher Promise Across Complete Range

Indian commercial vehicle manufacturer, Eicher Trucks and Buses, part of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) recently announced its new 'Eicher Promise' initiative across complete commercial vehicle range. The new after-sales service initiative promises bring road side assistance across all models on a 24x7 basis. The initiative will see vehicles receiving en-route repairs within 24 hours, in a bid to reduce downtime and increase profitability, as per the manufacturer. The Eicher On-road service will be available pan India and on all days, barring mandatory national holidays.
Speaking on the new initiative, VECV - EVP - Sales, Aftermarket Trucks and buses, Shyam Maller said, "We value our customer's business and are constantly working towards addressing their requirements. With Eicher Promise, we strive to ensure that our robust aftersales network is promptly sending the vehicle back on the road, within a stipulated time frame."
"We had introduced this scheme for a select range of trucks since 2015 and today we maintain a high success rate of vehicles being reverted to operational capacity within 24 hours. We are confident that this will go a long way in boosting our customers' confidence in Eicher vehicles and improving their operating margins through enhanced vehicle uptime. Eicher Promise is in line with our "Pro Customer" philosophy where we are taking our customers, partners and the Indian trucking industry to new heights and aspiring to be the number one after sales service provider in the country."
The scheme was previously offered on a select range of trucks since 2015, and has now been extended to the complete range. The Eicher Promise scheme guarantees on road repair in an event of a vehicle breakdown, allowing the vehicle to the back on road within 24 hours. The manufacturer also announced that for every 24 hour delay, the customer will be entitled to Eicher Promise coupons based on the vehicle series/model across the truck range. These coupons can be redeemed by customers when visiting the Eicher workshops next.
Eicher Trucks and Buses currently operates out of 283 service centres in India, along with 140 EGPs, and over 2500 retail centres for parts and spares across cities and national highways. There are also over 225 GPS enabled Eicher Service vans that moved around to provide on-site repairs and service requirements.
