Hyundai ix25 sub-compact SUV completely unveiled

Highlights
The Korean automajor Hyundai has finally unveiled the ix25 sub-compact SUV at the Beijing Motor Show. The mini SUV is scheduled to be launched "exclusively in China" later this year. The "i" in ix25 represents the 'inspiring, intelligent and innovative' characteristics of the young generation, says the company.
Based on Hyundai's evolved Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy, the ix25 takes its design cues from the Santa Fe and new Sonata. Equipped with a Nu 2.0-litre engine, the ix25 sub-compact SUV features an overall length of 4,270mm, overall width of 1,780mm and overall height of 1,630mm, while its wheelbase reaches 2,590mm.

The all-new Hyundai Genesis too made its Chinese debut at the show, and will be launched in the second half of this year.
