Mercedes-Benz G-Class Gets Two Special Edition Models

- These special edition models are on sale internationally
- The deliveries will begin from September 2017
- Engine and specifications are the same as on regular models
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is one of the most revered models in the international SUV space and has been around since 1979. And before the new-generation model comes in, Mercedes-Benz thought it would be a good idea to offer special edition models of the existing model range, internationally of course. Up first is the G-Class, which gets a 'designo manufaktur' edition for the G 500 and the G 350 d variants. These models get a different cosmetic treatment in form of blacked out exterior bits and three special exterior shades of designo magma red, designo Mystic White and Obsidian Black. The AMG alloys are done in black as well along with the spare wheel cover and the wing mirrors. The interior of the G-Class design manufaktur get black design Nappa leather with red topstitching. The seat belts are done in red while the seats themselves are done in black piano lacquer. There is a designo manufaktur badge sitting on the centre-console.
(Mercedes-AMG G 63 and G 65 Exclusive Edition)On the other hand, Mercedes-Benz is also offering an 'Exclusive Edition' on G 63 AMG and the G 65 AMG. Both the models get steel under-guard along with AMG sport strips. Also, the AMG models get a special Monza Grey magno paint finish. The alloys are also available in three different finishes.
(Mercedes-Benz G-Class 'designo manufaktur' Edition)The interior of the AMG models get two-tone Nappa leather upholstery with a choice of six colours. AMG sport seats come as standard fitment as well. One can also opt for the seat comfort package which includes multi-contour seats and seat climatisation as well.

One can use the Mercedes Me Connect services in case of emergencies, recovery, servicing etc. The app can be used to lock/unlock the car, switch on the auxiliary heating and so on.
