The trailer for the highly anticipated documentary featuring Michael Schumacher which is landing on Netflix on September 15 has been released. The trailer reveals a lot of behind-the-scenes footage of the first man to win 7-world titles in F1 including never seen before interviews. SCHUMACHER the documentary promises to show a very side of Michael who was often viewed as a perfectionist and a ruthless opponent, who was deemed to be the most feared driver on the field. It aims to show a man who didn't enjoy the spotlight and fought hard to overcome insecurity and self-doubt.

It also shows a devout family man with his two children and his wife. The documentary features his son Mick Schumacher who made his debut in F1 in 2021 with the Haas F1 team. The young Schumacher says in the trailer that he always wanted to be like his father.

Vettel who made an appearance in the Documentary always saw Michael Schumacher as his hero and when he won 4 titles on the trot, he went to Ferrari to emulate the success of his hero which unfortunately came to an unsuccessful end last year.

These days we see a similar bond develop between Vettel and Michael's son Mick, the way it was between Michael and Sebastian when the German legend made a return to the sport in 2010 with the Mercedes team that was being led by former Ferrari technical director Ross Brawn.

Schumacher hasn't been seen in the public since 2013 after a horrific skiing accident which has crippled him. Many believe that Schumacher is largely in a vegetative state though people who are close to him keep saying he is recovering slowly and also watches F1 races from the comfort of his home in Switzerland. His family has said this documentary is their gift to him.

In 2020, Lewis Hamilton overtook Schumacher's tally of 91 F1 wins which was long standing record for 16 years. He also equalled his feat of 7 world titles something the Briton strives to overtake this year.
