The long-anticipated Hyundai Venue subcompact SUV has been finally unveiled in India and is now slated to be launched on May 21, 2019. Here's all you need to know about Hyundai's first subcompact SUV.

Mercedes-Benz has launched the BS6 compliant E-Class Long Wheelbase in India. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is available in both the petrol and diesel variants and it is priced at Rs. 57.50 lakh for the base Expression E 200 petrol variant going up to Rs. 61.50 lakhfor the top-spec petrol; while the diesel costs Rs. 58.50 lakh with the range topping out at Rs 62.50 lakh for Exclusive E 220 d(all prices ex-showroom, India). Under the hood of the E 200 petrol is the new BS 6 compliant 2.0-litre, four-cylinder M 264 motor which puts out 194 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque which can propel the car to 100 kmph from a standstill in 8 seconds. The E 220 d gets the OM 654 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel motor which churns out 197 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. The E-Class LWB diesel is quicker than its petrol counterpart and can do a 0-100 kmph sprint in 7.3 seconds.

The Hyundai Venue is probably the most futuristic looking car of the lot and boasts of a design which is gaining a lot of prominence in the global setup. The exterior of the SUV features the company's signature cascading grille with chrome detailing, new lower set projector headlamps with LED daytime running light, high mounted indicators and projector foglamps.

Images of the upcoming Bharat Stage VI (BS6) compliant Mahindra XUV500 have recently surfaced online. The spy video posted by the YouTube handle Power Stroke, reveals a host different BS6 compliant Mahindra products, including the Bolero pick-up, was spotted undergoing testing, and in their midst, we also get to see a BS6 compliant Mahindra XUV500. This is not the first Mahindra SUV to have been spotted testing for the new emission norms. Early this month we also shared spy photos of the BS6 compliant XUV300 undergoing testing in India, which indicates that Mahindra plans to be ready for the new emission norms very much in advance.

Hyundai Motor India has announced collaboration with ALD Automotive India to provide its cars on lease. Hyundai aims to make its cars owning experience more economical and is targeting to provide its cars on lease to salaried individuals, working professionals, small and medium enterprises, corporates and public sector. In the first phase, the Korean carmaker has started its operations in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
