McLaren is finally coming up with an all-new Grand Tourer and is just calling it "GT". As we are aware that McLarens are categorised into three segments- Sports, Super and Ultimate Series, the upcoming GT will be positioned between the Sports and Super segment. In fact, McLaren has said that the GT will be slightly different having a mix of cross-country abilities and McLaren's dynamic and agile characteristics. The McLaren GT also takes inspiration from the Speedtail.

The 2019 Mini John Cooper Works has been launched in the country and is priced at Rs. (ex-showroom India). It takes the CBU route into the country and there's a lot to love about the car. Mini had brought us the JCW Pro Edition in 2017 and it was a riot but was limited to just 20 units, and now we get the hardcore Mini Cooper in the new avatar in India. This is the facelifted version of the car which has been launched in international markets already.

Images of the Ford Aspire Blu variant has recently surfaced online, and this time around the new top-end trim was spotted at a dealership. Like the recently launched Figo facelift, the Aspire too is set to get a new top-of-the-line variant based on the Titanium trim, called the Titanium Blu.

The much-discussed petrol version of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will launch in Q4 of 2019-20. The new Vitara Brezza will be powered by a 1.2 litre petrol motor and will offer manual and AMT variants, and will be Bharat Stage 6 or BS6 compliant. It will also usher in the facelift for the car.

JLR is offering the locally assembled Range Rover Velar in a single R Dynamic S trim. Engines on offer are a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. In the petrol P250 variant churns out 247 bhp and 365 Nm of peak torque and can clock triple digit speeds in 7.1 seconds. The 2-litre motor in the diesel D180 variant puts out 177 bhp and 430 Nm of peak torque and can do a 0 to 100 kmph sprint in 8.9 seconds. It also gets the all-terrain progress control (ATPC) system which configures the electronics according to the drive terrain.

The first production-spec Hyundai Venue has rolled out of the assembly line at the Korean carmaker's Chennai plant and we are just weeks away from its launch. The Hyundai Venue will go on sale in India on May 21 which is when the prices will be announced. As we have mentioned earlier, the Venue being a subcompact SUV will have to take a tough fight. Its rivals have been a blockbuster for their respective brands. In fact, we just got to know that Mahindra has bagged over 26,000 bookings for the XUV300 and the number itself speaks of the success. Credit also should be given to the design of these models. All of them have a different demeanour and their designs have been well received in the market. So it was necessary for Hyundai to design the Venue in a way which would set it apart and give its own identity. Well, we have seen the car at its unveiling and here is our take on its looks.

BMW came up with a rather interesting strategy to reveal the 8 Series range. Two of the best looking models of the line-up- the two-door coupe and convertible were shown first and they just blew our mind. And finally the four-door Gran Coupe has followed. Though the teaser image reveals the side of the Gran Coupe which looks gracious and sumptuous, the front and rear are expected to be identical to its two-door counterpart. However, the wheelbase will be larger than the Coupe version, given that it will seat four. The sharp flowing character lines build upon the aesthetics and the rising shoulder line looks strong throughout its length. The low slung stance further keeps the sporty quotient intact.
