  U.S. To Probe Thousands Of Fires Connected To Hyundai, Kia vehicles

  The top U.S auto safety regulator said on Monday it will open an investigation into 3 million Hyundai Motor Co and Kia Motors Corp vehicles after reviewing reports of more than 3,000 fires that injured over 100 people.The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said the investigation is in response to a petition seeking a probe filed in June by the Center for Auto Safety. The investigation covers the 2011-2014 Kia Optima and Sorento and the 2010-2015 Kia Soul, along with the 2011-2014 Hyundai Sonata and Santa Fe.

  Hyundai Venue Subcompact SUV Leaked In Images

  Hyundai India has been unfolding details about the Venue subcompact SUV ahead of its debut on April 17, 2019. While the company revealed the features on the new offering just yesterday, images of the Hyundai Venue have leaked online revealing the exterior design of the SUV. The all-new offering is a sub 4-metre Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Mahindra XUV300 rival, and the design takes a lot of cues from the automaker's global SUVs including the Creta and the Kona. In fact, influences of the latter are evident inclding the massive cascading grille, and the split headlamp design. The leaked images also reveal the LED turn indicators, projector lens headlamp and the square LED daytime running lights on the Venue.

  Hyundai Venue Will Be India's First Connected Car With 10 India-Only Features

  Hyundai Motor India Limited has pulled out all stops to ensure that the new and upcoming Hyundai Venue subcompact SUV will be India's first ever connected car. The Hyundai Venue will get the company's 'BlueLink' connected technology and it will have 10 India-only features with a total of 33 connectivity features. Some of the features that BlueLink will offer in India are geo-fencing, speed alerts, SOS, panic notifications, destination sharing, and road-side assistance and so on. Hyundai said that it has tested its BlueLink technology rigorously in India, keeping the conditions in mind along with the needs of the customers. This also includes voice guidance and recognition in Indian-accented English which means that the software will be able to recognise spoken English from different regions in India. The Hyundai Venue will also have remote-control operated functions such as climate control, horn and headlamps on, vehicle status, engine start/stop and so on. The best thing is that Hyundai BlueLink can use your smartphone interface as a remote control.

  2020 Audi A5 Spotted Testing For The First Time

  The face of the A5 for most of its part looks similar to the upcoming A4 sporting the identical grille and quite a similar bumper profile. The design of the headlamp too is familiar, however, the hood retains the same character lines with no changes at all. Coming to the side, the fenders and rear haunches are camouflaged but we expect minimal changes to their design which are likely to be done just to align with the new bumpers.
