New-Gen Honda City Gets Google Assistant Feature

- Honda Action has now been introduced on Google & is available on the City
- Honda Action on Google will offer 10 voice-enabled features
- Honda Connect on the city now comes with four new functionalities
Honda Cars India has introduced an enhanced version of Honda Connect by introducing Honda Action on Google, which is now available on the new-generation City compact sedan. With the introduction of Honda Action on Google, the new City now comes with the Google Assistant and will work with Ok Google. The new Honda City already got Alexa remote capability and the new update will be a boon to users who use Android devices. In addition to the new feature, the Honda Connect platform now comes with four new functionalities, in addition to the 32 existing functions on offer.

In essence, you can now say, "Ok Google, ask Honda to turn on my car's AC and set the temperature to cool," or "Ok Google, ask Honda to unlock my car door."
You can also ask, "Ok Google, ask Honda to check my car's fuel capacity?" Or, "Ok Google, ask Honda what's my Pollution expiry date?"

The Honda Connect system now adds Valet Alert, Fuel Log analytics, cost of maintenance and enhanced options for service products

As we celebrate the anniversary milestone of our successful 5th Gen Honda City, we are delighted to introduce a voice-based Google Assistant interface with our Honda Connect platform which will offer convenience to stay connected with your car while performing daily routine activities."
The Honda Action on Google will offer 10 voice-enabled features that can be executed using Google Assistant-enabled devices. This includes Google Nest speakers, Android phones, as well as iOS devices. The 10 features can be used with the text-based command functionality of Google.

The Ok Google voice command function works with Google Nest, Android phones and even iOS devices
Additionally, the newly introduced features in Honda Connect include Valet Alert, Fuel Log Analysis, Cost of Maintenance Analysis and enhanced options for Service Products.
