Porsche Macan SUV Launching This Month?

The wait is over, for the all new Porsche Macan SUV is finally set to launch in India. The company has brought a total of 10 Macans from Germany via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route. Expected to be the cheapest Porsche ever, the Macan will be launched this month.

While the Macan is sold in three engine options globally - 3.0-litre petrol, 3.6-litre turbo petrol and 3.0-litre V6 diesel, the Indian market is expected to get only the diesel engine powered model, at least initially. With 258bhp and 580Nm of torque, the diesel mill touches the 100Km/h mark from standstill in just 6.3 seconds. It also offers a top-speed of 230Km/h.

Porsche claims a mileage of 19Km/l for the Macan S diesel in the UK, which, effectively, makes it the most fuel efficient Porsche ever. Power to all four-wheels of the car will be transmitted via a PDK transmission.

As far as the price is concerned, the all-new Macan SUV is expected to be priced between Rs. 75 lakh and Rs. 90 lakh.
