Renault Captur SUV India Launch Highlights: Price, Specs, Features

- The Renault Captur is based on the Duster's platform
- The range-topping trim is called Renault Captur 'Platine'
- Both the petrol & diesel trims of the Captur will only get manual option
Renault Captur compact SUV has finally launched in India today and we have all the highlights from the launch event here. The new compact SUV is positioned just above the existing Renault Duster in Renault India's line-up and is the company's flagship offering for India. The Renault Captur's price in India starts at Rs. 9.99 lakh, going up to Rs. 13.88 lakh for the Platine variant. The prices are introductory and the Captur will be on display at all Renault showroom from today. We have driven the car and have already shared our first impressions along with a lot of other details. All that is left to know is the price and variant classification of the Renault Captur and that we'll know today.

Bookings for the Renault Captur commenced in late September 2017 and by mid October the company had already started dispatching the car to its 300+ showrooms across India. In India, the new Renault Captur SUV competes with the likes of Jeep Compass and Hyundai Creta and we have already told you where they stand against each other on paper.
