First unveiled in February 2016, Royal Enfield's Himalayan is finally going to make its way into the Indian market. This is a big leap for the iconic motorcycle marque, which is entering a whole new segment, adventure tourer, with the bike equipped with a range of brand-first features.
The Himalayan is also the first purpose built bike to come from an Indian manufacturer, especially from Royal Enfield who has always taken a conventional approach with its motorcycles. The company had talked about bringing in new bikes and the Himalayan is clearly meant for those who want to travel on the road not taken.
