In August 2022, Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) sold 21,520 tractors in total. Compared to the 21,360 units sold during the same month in 2021, the company witnessed a YoY growth of a marginal 1 per cent.

Suzuki's month-over-month figures registered a growth last month with 64,654 units in the domestic market.

TVS Motor Co recorded cumulative sales of 315,539 units in the month.

Mahindra registered a 6.4 per cent month-on-month growth in sales, as it sold 29,852 passenger vehicles in the month of August 2022.

Maruti Suzuki sold 1,65,173 units in the month of August 2022, and saw its monthly sales figures drop by 6.1% over the month of July, while the carmaker registered a YoY growth of 26.4%.

Ather Energy despatched 6,410 electric scooters to customers in August 2022, registering the highest-ever monthly sales figures for the Bengaluru-based EV maker.

Overall sales volumes however were up just 8 per cent for India’s largest exporter of two-wheelers, and the company reported a massive 28 per cent decline in exports.
