Kia India announced that the company sold over two lakh units of the Seltos compact SUV along with having one and a half lakh connected cars in India till date.

The retail sales of over 1 lakh two-wheelers included both domestic sales, as well as sales in global markets around the world.

Hero MotoCorp despatched 10.25 lakh motorcycles and scooters during the April to June 2021 quarter, and reported a four-fold increase in net profit.

Force Motors sold 6,486 units in the same period as compared to 2,311 units sold in the first four months of the previous year, including both domestic and exports.

The company reported consolidated revenue of Rs. 156 crore in the period from April to June 2020.

The Society Of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, or SIAM India, has released the monthly sales data for July 2021. Last month, the auto sector witnessed an overall year-on-year (YoY) growth of 4 per cent, selling 15,36,269 vehicles, as against 14,76,861 units sold in July 2020.

FADA shared that 15,56,777 units were retailed last month, a growth of 34.12 per cent over July 2020. However, cumulative sales were still down by 13.22 per cent when compared to pre-Covid levels in July 2019.
