Top 5 Highlights: BMW M5 Competition

BMW India launched the M5 Competition in the country in July this year. The BMW M5 Competition is the all-wheel-drive performance version of the 5 Series facelift and comes to our shores as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) or import model and can only be booked online. The new BMW M5 Competition also comes with visual tweaks, suspension, and an updated infotainment system that makes the car more exhilarating than it already was. Here are the top 5 highlights of the car.

1. Visual upgrades on the 2021 BMW M5 Competition include the Laserlight headlamps with L-shaped DRLs, revised taillights, as well as reworked bumpers with larger intakes.

2. BMW has also tweaked the 2021 M5 Competition's chassis for more dynamic handling and the suspension gets adaptive dampers.

3. The rear sports a new apron and diffuser design along with revised exhaust tips. There are three different 20-inch alloy wheels options to choose from.

4. On the inside, the cabin layout remains the same but gets a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Drive 7. It is now compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as part of the upgrade.

5. Under the hood, it gets a 4.4-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out 612 bhp and 750 Nm of peak torque. It clocks triple digit speeds in 3.3 seconds.
