The BS6 compliant Nissan Kicks was launched in India last year in May. The compact SUV is priced in India from Rs. 9.49 lakh, goes up to Rs. 14.64 lakh (all prices ex-showroom India) for the range-topping CVT variant. It is available in India in four trim options - XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O). With the introduction of the new turbo petrol, the 1.5-litre diesel engine was discontinued on the Kicks SUV.

1. The updated Nissan Kicks remains identical to its predecessor in terms of exterior and styling. It's only a petrol-only line-up with the 1.5-litre motor and the all-new 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine.

2. It is offered in six monotone colour options- Blade Silver, Night Shade, Bronze Grey, Fire Red, Pearl White, Deep Blue Pearl and three dual-tone shades - Bronze Grey with Amber Orange, Fire Red with Onyx Black, and Pearl White with Onyx Black.

3. The Nissan Kicks comes equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and 360-degree camera view, first-in-segment remote engine start system in the automatic variants.

4. The compact SUV is offered with an option of two engine - a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre petrol engine. The former makes 154 bhp and 254 Nm of peak torque while the latter churns out 105 bhp and 142 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are carried out by 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic unit.

5. Standard features on the Nissan Kicks include the brand's Connect with Smart watch connectivity, Auto AC with rear AC vent, cooled glove box, dual airbags, ABD+EBD, Brake Assist, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, impact sensing auto door unlock, speed sensing auto door unlock, and shark fin antenna among others.
