Honda has filed patent images for what seems to be climate-controlled seats for motorcycles. The under-development technology will offer both cooling and heating options for motorcycle seats.

Two-wheeler sales in the domestic market hit a road block in the 2018-19 financial year as sales saw a 17.31 per cent decline in volumes. The domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 14,40,663 units in FY2018-19, as against 17,42,307 units sold in 2017-18. The drop in volumes is alarming considering that the two-wheeler sector has grown consistently in the previous years. Factors including a weak customer sentiment, increase in prices and overall increase in insurance for vehicles contributed to slow buying period, especially in the second half of the financial year.

Honda Motorcycle And Scooter India has begun delivering the CB300R to customers in India. Also, the company has listed out 16 standalone accessories along with four accessories kit for the Honda CB300R.

Expanding its model line-up in Bangladesh, TVS Motor Company has introduced four new motorcycles in the country. The products include the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, TVS Max 125, TVS Metro 100 Special Edition and the TVS XL100 Heavy Duty. The company says its new product range will target the growing customer demand in each of the respective segment in Bangladesh. The Hosur-based two-wheeler maker distributes its models through TVS Auto Bangladesh across the country.

Piaggio India has updated its range of Vespa and Aprilia scooters with ABS and CBS technology. The safety features are now mandatory on all two-wheelers, both new and old. As part of an introductory offer, Piaggio is providing a lucrative offer on the ABS range of Vespa and Aprilia two-wheelers from April onwards, under which customers can enjoy benefits worth Rs. 6,000 on purchasing via PayTM. The Aprilia SR 150, Vespa SXL and VXL 150 now get single-channel ABS, while the Aprilia SR 125, and Vespa 125 range gets CBS on offer.

Yamaha Motor has pulled the wraps off the 2019 MT-03 street-fighter motorcycle at the Bangkok Motor Show in Thailand. The updated offering is based on the YZF-R3 sharing the engine, chassis and several cycle parts but does get changes to match a naked motorcycle's mannerisms. For 2019, the updated Yamaha MT-03 gets a new white and red paint scheme in addition to the existing colour options available. Visually, styling changes are minimal and the bike carries over the design language from the older model.

Classic Legends, the Mahindra-owned subsidiary that revived the Jawa brand, commenced deliveries of its motorcycles last month. With buyers taking their bikes home, the bike maker has now revealed more details on the Jawa and Jawa 42 including the fuel efficiency figure on the motorcycles. Responding to a customer query on social media, Classic Legends revealed that the Jawa and Jawa 42 cruisers have an ARAI certified fuel efficiency figure of 37.5 kmpl. That's an appreciable number considering the fact that the bikes use a 293 cc single-cylinder engine.

A near-production unit of the upcoming Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 has been spotted in India. Although the bike is heavily camouflaged, we do get to see a number of changes that the India-spec model will be launched with.
