TVS has sold over 1 lakh units of the Radeon, in just seven months since its launch. It is the company's newest 110 cc commuter motorcycle.

Hero MotoCorp - Chairman, Dr. Pawan Munjal was recently felicitated by the Asian Tour with a Special Achievement Award for his contributions to Asian Golf. The Hero boss, who is an avid golfer himself, was presented with a special salver by four-time Asian Tour winner Shiv Kapur, representing the players on the Asian Tour. The ceremony took place at the recently concluded Hero Indian Open Golf tournament.

Custom bike builder Vardenchi has inaugurated its first Lifestyle Garage Store in Mumbai. Spread over 1000 sq.ft., the new store diversifies the custom biker maker's into more of a lifestyle brand with aftermarket parts, apparel and safety gear. Largely known for its Royal Enfield builds, Vardenchi will also now produce aftermarket components for other motorcycle brands as well including the Bajaj Avenger range, Bajaj Dominar, KTM, TVS and more. The new lifestyle garage also includes a display area for the custom motorcycles and a service centre that will cater to the upkeep of the bikes and also complete the installation process for the custom kits.

Bajaj Auto reported a growth of 25 per cent in total sales for the financial year 2018-19. The company sold 50,19,503 units (motorcycles + commercial vehicles), as opposed to 40,06,791 units sold during FY2017-18. This was also a new milestone for the company recording its highest ever sales in a fiscal. The company's domestic sales for the year stood at 29,40,773 units, growing by 25 per cent over 23,44,214 units sold during the previous year. Exports too grew by 25 per cent for Bajaj in FY2018-19 with 20,78,730 units shipped

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has witnessed a slowdown in sales in the last fiscal year. The company has recorded a negative growth of 6.45 per cent in the fiscal year 2018-19 selling 55,20,000 units against 59,00,840 units which it sold in the previous fiscal year. However, the company has recovered some volumes overall from exports which in the same fiscal year was at its all-time high at 3,80,041 units. The company has attributed the slowdown in sales to the second half of the financial year where sales were weak to the extent that it wiped-off the growth that the company recorded in the first six months.

Royal Enfield has announced an investment of Rs. 700 crore as its planned capital expenditure for the financial year 2019-20. Furthermore, the company has also announced its plan to produce 950,000 motorcycles during the ongoing fiscal year.

Vinod Dasari has been appointed as the new CEO of Royal Enfield. He will be replacing Siddhartha Lal, who will continue to be the MD for the company. Prior to joining Royal Enfield, Vinod Dasari was the CEO and MD of Ashok Leyland since 2011.

Royal Enfield sold 60,831 motorcycles in March 2019, against the sales of 76,087 motorcycles over the same period last year.
