BMW is all geared up to make itself future proof and hybrids are the stepping stone for the Bavarian brand in the run towards electrification. The new BMW models such as the 7 Series Facelift and now the updated 3 Series range have seen the addition of a plug-in hybrid variant.

The 6th generation of the Volkswagen Polo made its debut in 2017 and back then we told you that the car will not make its way to India. However, Volkswagen India has confirmed that it is considering the new gen Polo for India albeit with a few changes.

It might have been a very slow start to 2019 for Audi India, but the second half of the year brings in a burst of action. Audi has announced that it will launch 4 cars in India by the end of 2019 and as we told you earlier, it will all start with the launch of the new generation of the A6. But the Q8 Coupe- SUV will soon join the line-up. The Q8 will be the company's first coupe-SUV from the Ingolstadt-based carmaker and will be the range-topping model in Audi's Q line-up, which was up until now led by the Audi Q7. The Q8 will be launched in India during the festive season, so expect it to be here by October or November this year.

The Renault Triber is all set to go on sale in India on August 28, while bookings for the new 7-seater will commence later this week, from August 17. The carmaker has announced the customers can book the new sub-4-metre MPV both online or at any Renault authorised dealership by paying a token of Rs. 11,000.

Rezvani teased the Tank last week and we told you all about it but now we finally get to see all of it. It's big, radical and a guaranteed attraction seeker. Its latest model- the 2020 Rezvani Tank too stands afoot on that front and among quite a few radical elements in the new SUV, the most talked about is the one under its hood. It's a Dodge sourced 6.2-litre, V8, supercharged engine which belts out a whopping 1000 horses and a humongous peak torque of 1180 Nm and just to hear an SUV developing that kind of power figures is mind boggling.

The new Mercedes-AMG GLB will be among the several new models including an electric EQ show car which the company plans to showcase at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

India has been the lead market to develop the third generation Grand i10 (i10 globally) and will also be the first market to get the model ahead of its launch in Europe later this year.

Maruti Suzuki has officially started accepting bookings for the upcoming XL6 premium MPV for an amount of Rs. 11,000. The company has also started taking online bookings for the XL6 and buyers can book it at Maruti Nexa's official website or through the Nexa app.
