Upcoming Electric Two-Wheelers By Ather Energy

- Ather scooters start at a price of Rs 1.19 lakh.
- Ather 450X is the most expensive scooter at Rs 1.38 lakh that Ather sells
- One of the most well-known names in the line-up is 450X.
By creating high-performance, low-maintenance, and smart electric vehicles, Ather hopes to shift people's minds about electric vehicles. At the moment, the company has manufactured two scooter models: the 450 Plus and the 450X. The most popular scooter is Ather's 450X. An additional ride mode named SmartEco mode will be available on these e-scooters. The new ride mode is designed to change range and performance dynamically.
The fact that a new startup is building India's first premium electric scooter says a lot about the individuals who work there. Ather Energy has been able to attract a significant number of customers to electric mobility in a short period of time.
Ather Energy wants to go from making 120,000 to 400,00 electric scooters per year at its Hosur plant. The company just purchased more property to allow the plant to expand. Over the next three years, the company plans to increase its production capacity to one million units. Ather hopes that their partnership with Bharat FIH will help them achieve this goal.
Ather Energy announced that its Hosur factory had produced the 25,000th 450X e-scooter. Ather reached this goal between January 28, 2020, and March 4, 2022, a span of two years. The company shared photos on its social media accounts of the Ather 450X coming off the assembly line.

The Ather 450X is one of the most well-known e-scooters in India, where many electric vehicle companies have already launched their products in the market. The e-scooter looks attractive and has various useful features.

The Ather 450X is powered by a 2,9 kWh lithium-ion battery and an electric motor that together make 8 horsepower and 26 Newton-meters of torque. The horsepower and torque of the new Ather 450 X are higher than those of its predecessor.
Eco, Ride, Sport, and Warp are the four ways to ride on the Ather 450X. The new Warp mode has a peak torque of 26 Nm. According to Ather, the 450X e-scooter can go 85 km on a single charge in Eco mode, 50 km in Warp mode, and 75 km in Ride mode on a single charge. The electric scooter, according to the company, can go from 0 to 40 km/h in less than 3.3 seconds and from 0 to 60 km/h in 6.5 seconds.
There is an additional ride mode called SmartEco mode, which is designed to dynamically adjust range and performance. Users with Ather Connect Pro subscription plans will have access to the latest SmartEco ride mode.
Ather Energy wants to produce more of their 450X electric scooter. In the next three years, the company plans to increase production of the 450X to 400,000 units per year and eventually to 1 million units per year.

New variants
As per the company, two new variants of the 450 e-scooter platform will be released. Tarun Mehta, the company's CEO, gave indications about the unveiling of two new e-scooters. This will keep the consumers excited about the advancement in electric vehicle technology.
