BMW M6 Gran Coupe to be launched on April 3rd

Displayed at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in February, this year, the BMW M6 Gran coupe will be launched on 3rd April. The M6 Gran Coupe is the performance-oriented version of the 6 Series Gran Coupe, which is already sold in India. Since, the vehicle will be brought via CBU (Completely Built Unit) route, expect it to be priced around Rs 1.5 crore.
What makes the M6 Gran Coupe is the mighty 4.4-litre V8 engine with M TwinPower turbo technology, seven-speed M double clutch transmission with Drivelogic and active M differential. This engine churns out a mammoth 560bhp along with 680Nm of peak torque. The car accelerates to 100kmph from standstill in 4.2 seconds, and has an electronically limited top-speed of 250kmph. The similar engine also powers the M5.
Wearing a sporty body kit comprising of 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design, carbon fibre- reinforced plastic (CFRP) roof, prominently flared wheel arches and revised bumpers, the M6 Gran coupe is surely a head-turner. What adds more to its sportiness is the M Signature - twin exhaust tailpipes, positioned on the outer edges of the rear apron, and a diffuser made from CFRP.
