Petrol & Diesel Prices Cut By 8 Paise & 15 Paise In Delhi
State-run oil marketing companies on Tuesday revised the fuel prices across the country. Domestic petrol prices have been reduced by up to 15 paise whereas petrol rates are cut by up to 8 paise in metro cities, as per the notifications by the Indian Oil Corporation. Petrol prices have been reduced across all metros after a gap of three days. However, diesel has seen the sixth consecutive price cut. Diesel Prices Cut By Up To 25 Paise Across Metros, Petrol Rates Unchanged
According to the notification from the Indian Oil Corporation, diesel rates on Sunday were reduced up to 25 paise across all metro cities in India. While, the petrol prices remained untouched throughout the country, except Kolkata which witnessed price reduction of 2 paise. In the capital city, diesel is now cheaper by 24 paise bringing down the price to Rs. 71.58 per litre from Rs. 71.82 per litre. However, petrol rates were maintained at Rs. 81.14 per litre in Delhi. The oil marketing companies had reduced the diesel prices up to 20 paise on Saturday, making diesel cheaper by around Rs. 1 per litre in the last four days.
