Hyundai Motor India has silently hiked prices on the Santro line-up that now starts at Rs. 4.15 lakh for the base trim. Launched late last year, the automaker has now discontinued the entry-level D-Lite and Era variants and the hatchback now gets the new Era Executive trim instead is priced at Rs. 4.15 lakh. The new variant is about Rs. 25,000 more expensive than the D-Lite trim that was priced at Rs. 3.90 lakh, while the Era variant was priced at Rs. 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Images of the top-end Asta variant of the soon-to-be-launched new Hyundai Santro have leaked online and this time around we finally get to see the car inside out. While Hyundai had released a couple of images of the car, this is the first time that we get to see the rear portion of the upcoming tallboy hatchback.
The Santro will replace the Eon in the company's line-up in India and will be the company's entry level hatchback in the country.
