2017 Audi A4 Sedan Spotted Testing Again Sans Camouflage

- 2017 Audi A4 is longer than the existing model

2017 Audi A4 With TDI Badging
As mentioned, the test mule that was spotted this recently came with the TDI badging, which is the same 2.0litre TDI that powers the existing model in India. The engine is capable of churning out 174bhp and 380Nm of peak torque. On the other hand the petrol version of the car will continue to be powered by the 1.8-litre TFSI engine producing 168bhp and developing 320Nm of torque. Both the engine will continue to be paired with the same 8-speed automatic transmission as standard.

2017 Audi A4 is Longer Than the Existing Model
In terms of design and looks the 2017 Audi A4 gets new cosmetic additions along with some stylish exterior features which have made the car a tad bit more premium. In fact Audi has reportedly increased the length of the car, which is now 25mm longer at is now 4,730mm. Also now the wheelbase of the car too has been stretched by 12mm to make it more spacious. Among the new feature additions we have the Audi's new Matrix LED headlamps along with LED daytime running lights, redesigned front grille and a new front bumper with larger air intakes. The car also gets new LED tail lamps along with a slightly restyled boot lid and a new rear bumper as well.

The interior of the car has also been completely redesigned and now you get new and well laid out dashboard. In our first drive review of the car showed you the new dashboard which is now more horizontal and angular now with wider AC vents, panels and the instrument cluster, available as a full TFT module giving it a more futuristic approach. With the slightly extended cabin space you get more legroom and the car is also gets some better quality upholstery along with some more new features.

Upon its launched the new 2017 Audi A4 will continue to compete with the likes of Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series, and the new kid in town, Jaguar XE as well. The car is likely to be priced in the range of Rs. 32 lakh to Rs. 42 lakh.
