India's flagship auto show opened its doors today, with a new batch of diesel-guzzling SUVs on proud display despite industry uncertainty over a pollution crackdown targetting motorists in the capital.
Showing a glimpse of the new models slated to be launched in India Chevrolet has put on display a new sub-compact sedan and a hatchback based crossover at its pavilion at the on-going Auto Expo.
Hyundai has showcased the all-new Tucson at the ongoing Auto Expo 2016. The car will compete with the Honda CR-V and upcoming Nissan X-Trail and is likely to cost between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 23 lakh.
BMW will launch the all-new 7 Series and X1 in India at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo. The new 7 Series will bring 'unmatched luxury and technical innovation', without sacrificing on dynamic performance whereas the X1 will offer 'sturdy proportions, impressive versatility, and premium characteristics.'
The second largest car manufacturer in the country will showcase a total of 17 products, including the Hyundai Tucson along with other products from its international and domestic line-up.
