Honda has filed patent for an upcoming cafe racer designed motorcycle with a six-cylinder engine, which could well be a new Honda CBX.

Most two-wheeler manufacturers have recorded a good growth in their sales figures for the month of June 2018.

The Honda Activa has always been second to the top-selling Suzuki Access in the 125 cc scooter segment, and more recently also started facing competition from a slew of new launches in this space, including its sister model - Honda Grazia. However, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has not forgotten about its first 125 cc scooter yet, and has silently rolled out the updated Activa 125 in the market with a host of upgrades. The 2018 Honda Activa 125 boasts of new features and cosmetic enhancements, while the price tag has also seen an upward revision of Rs. 2116, now starting at Rs. 59,621 and going up to Rs. 64,007 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).

The Suzuki Burgman Street will be launched in India on 19th July, 2018.

Honda Two-Wheelers sold 361,236 scooters in June 2018 which is a growth of 33 per cent over the sales of June 2017 standing at 2, 71,007 units.

Suzuki Motorcycle India continues to maintain its growth momentum for July this year and registered a 39 per cent hike in volumes for the previous month. The Japanese two-wheeler giant sold 46,717 units in July 2018, as opposed to 33,573 units during the same month last year. The first quarter of the 2018-19 financial year (April-June) has started on a positive note for the manufacturer with a domestic market growth of 40 per cent, as the company aims to sell over seven lakh units by the end of this fiscal.

Hero sold 2.1 million units during the April-June 2018 quarter, which is its highest ever quarterly sales.
