    Royal Enfield Bullet 500 EFI Introduced; Priced At Rs 1.62 Lakh
    The fuel-injected Royal Enfield Bullet 500 now meets Bharat Stage 4 (BS IV) emission regulations which came into effect from 1 April 2017. The recent Supreme Court order banning the manufacture, sale and even registration of any vehicle not meeting these regulations meant Royal Enfield had to update those models which did not meet the BS 4 emissions criteria. The engine of the updated Bullet 500 remains the same, but power and torque have marginally increased, thanks to the new technology. The Royal Enfield Bullet 500 is now available in three shades - Marsh Grey, Forest Green and Black.

    Husqvarna To Launch Fuel Injected Two Stroke Bikes
    Husqvarna will be introducing fuel injection in their upcoming 2018 model year two-stroke enduro bikes, a release from the company said. The all-new 2018 Husqvarna TE 250i and 2018 Husqvarna TE 300i enduro models will be equipped with transfer port injection. Production of these fuel-injected two-stroke motorcycles will begin in June 2017 and the company says more details will be released on 30 May 2017. The move follows Husqvarna owner KTM also announcing fuel-injected two stroke enduro motorcycles just a few weeks ago, on the KTM 250 EXC TPI and KTM 300 EXC TPI.

    TVS Apache RTR 310 Launch Details Revealed
    TVS Motor Company will be launching the much-awaited TVS Apache RTR 310 in July this year. Based on the Akula concept showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo, the TVS Apache RTR 310 is built on the same engine platform as the upcoming BMW G 310 R - a bike jointly developed by BMW Motorrad and TVS. With the small-displacement BMW's launch delayed now, looks like TVS will be the first to release an all-new motorcycle with the 310 cc engine in the domestic market.

    2017 Energica Electric Bikes Get More Power
    Italian electric motorcycle manufacturer Energica has updated their range of bikes for 2017, increasing both power and torque, at the same time bringing the bikes in line with Euro 4 regulations. The new Energica Ego sportbike now makes 145 bhp, up from 136 bhp, while the naked sportbike Eva now makes 108 bhp (up from 95 bhp). Peak torque has also increased on both bikes - the Ego now has 200 Nm while the Eva has 180 Nm.
