The upcoming micro SUV from Tata Motors, codenamed Tata HBX, has yet again been spotted testing in India. The new entry-level SUV from Tata, which will be positioned below the Nexon, appears to be nearing the production-ready stage and is expected to be launched by the end of 2021.

Last month the home-grown utility vehicle manufacturer produced 22,016 SUVs in the country, an 8.4 per cent increase compared to 20,304 units manufactured in June 2021.

Tata Group, the parent company of home-grown automaker, Tata Motors, is reportedly looking at foraying into semiconductor manufacturing.
