EVRE has set up East Delhi's first EV charging station in Mayur Vihar. The new charging station has been installed at Nagarjuna Apartment and was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia. The Delhi government has targeted that 10 per cent of all new vehicles purchased should be electric vehicles and it has already surpassed the target registering 12 per cent electric vehicles of the overall vehicles purchased in 2022. The government has been working actively to promote the sales of EVs in the state.

Delhi government had launched the 'Delhi EV Forum' in 2020.
Commenting on the launch, Sisodia said, "The petrol prices have crossed the Rs 100 mark; on the contrary, electric vehicles offer multiple pollution-mitigating advantages." Congratulating EVRE and Nagarjuna Apartments for the first dedicated EV charging station for a residential society in East Delhi, he said, "The is a great initiative by Nagarjuna Apartments. The first charging station by EVRE will encourage others to buy electric vehicles that will encourage further charging infrastructure."
In 2020, Delhi government had launched the 'Delhi EV Forum' which is aimed at bringing all the major stakeholders together for successful implementation of the Delhi EV policy. OEMs, fleet operators, charging station energy operators, experts and various government agencies are the members of the Delhi EV Forum and are working to provide the platform for conversations among all the stakeholders. Delhi is also one of the highest EV registering states in India. Last year, between July and September, over 1.5 lakh vehicles were registered in Delhi, which included 7,869 EVs.
