Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Gets 434 km EPA range

- The Mustang Mach-E GT can deliver up to 434.5 kilometres as per the EPA
- The GT performance trim offers up to 418 kilometres
- These numbers are very similar to the standard or long range AWD trims
The EPA has given out its rating for the Mustang Mach-E GT edition and its GT performance variant and the figures are impressive. The Ford electric SUV has a large 88 kWh battery so things were going to be impressive as Ford had detailed a range of around 400 kilometres, but as per the EPA, it does even better giving out 30 kilometres more totaling to a range of 434.5 kilometres. Interestingly, the same holds true for the performance GT edition which had a target range of 378 kilometres but as per the EPA, that's even more efficient than Ford's claims as it can do 418.4 kilometres. Interestingly, there is no penalty for opting for the more perform GT models than going from the Extended Range all-wheel-drive model.

The Mustang Mach-E 1400 gets a hydraulic handbrake to make drifts possible on the all-electric vehicle
This is an impressive achievement for Ford as the car has 634 pounds/feet and 860-newton meters of torque. It can do 0-100 kilometres per hour in 3.5 seconds.
"With Pirelli summer tires and MagneRide damping system, Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition drivers get the performance thrills of 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds while being able to travel further with the final EPA-estimated range of 260 miles.' said Darren Palmer, global director, battery electric vehicles, Ford Motor Company.
"More than half of our orders for the Mustang Mach-E GT have been for the Performance Edition, and I'm particularly pleased that we have had orders from every state across the US. The starting MSRP of the Mustang Mach-E GT is $59,900 and the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition is $64,900 in the United States. Both qualify for as much as $7,500 in federal tax incentives6. Customers can order a Mustang Mach-E GT here. Deliveries will begin in the fall," he added.
Ford is planning on over-delivering that over-committing. It does the same with the F-150 Lightning truck. It has rated the range with full payload which means in normal running conditions the range will be higehr, it has probably done the same with the Mustang Mach-E.
