Honda Activa Premium Edition Revealed; Launch Soon

- New Activa Premium is based on the Activa 6G
- New-gen Activa 7G could come at a later date
- Honda previously confirmed a new 125cc scooter launch for FY2024
Since the launch of the new CB300F, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has been teasing a new scooter on its website and social media channels. Now the two-wheeler manufacturer has revealed the new scooter the Activa Premium Edition. Based on the current Activa 6G, the premium edition gets some unique design touches to help it stand out.
The chrome accents on the faux vents on the front apron are now finished in gold as are the wheels. The plastic and seat upholstery are now finished in a shade of brown while the rear grab handle is now finished in body colour in place of silver. Additionally, the base of the front suspension and the drivetrain cover is now finished in black.
Honda has not yet revealed prices for the new Activa Premium Edition though we expect the model to be positioned above the current two variants of the Activa 6G. Prices for the Activa 6G current range from Rs 72,400 – Rs 74,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Coming to the Activa 7G, going by past iterations Honda has over the years rolled out a new generation of the Activa 110 every two years with the Activa 4G rolling out in 2017, 5G in 2018 and 6G in 2020. This would mean that the new Activa 7G should be due for a launch soon and could be out in 2023.
Honda has also confirmed a new 125cc scooter for the Indian markets which will arrive in the next financial year. While details are scarce, the new scooter could be a new generation of the Activa 125 or could replace the current Grazia.
