If you at all have to park your car on an incline, there is a short trick which you should keep in mind. It will ward off unwanted accidents. Now there are few places where people have to do it regularly because they either live or work there. But occasional parking on an inclined slope may not affect your vehicle but if you do it regularly and continue parking on an incline it may have detrimental effects on some parts of the car which are not good for your car.

The short trick to know how to correctly park your car on an incline:
So the first and foremost thing that can happen when you regularly park on an inclined slope is that your fluid reading will be inaccurate, which is very dangerous. Therefore fluids, like fuel, oil and engine fluids like transmission, brake and clutch will be affected which is a serious issue and can lead to major accidents. This is the reason why, when checking the fluid levels of your vehicles, you need to make sure to measure it on a level surface. Another subsystem that will be strained is the handbrake or the parking break, because using frequently will cause accelerated wear and tear on the brake pads and cables. It will be exaggerated if you use the parking brake to hold your vehicle upon an inclined slope. However to ensure that your vehicle doesn't roll away when parked on an inclined slope you can use this technique. If your vehicle is pointed uphill, you should turn your front wheels away from the curve and then slowly drive your vehicle in such a way that the rear end of the vehicle comes into slight contact with the curve. Once you put your transmission and first gear or park before engaging the parking brake and turning off the engine.

You should use this technique. You will have three things that will keep your vehicle from rolling away, the transmission, parking brake and tyres. So if the transmission and parking brake end up failing, the vehicle's front tires will roll towards the curb instead of straight on.
