Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Variants & Features

Maruti Suzuki recently showcased the Vitara Brezza at the 2016 Auto Expo in Greater Noida, with the sub-compact SUV garnering quite a bit of attention at the show. Although India's biggest carmaker is yet to announce the exact launch date for the Maruti Vitara Brezza, we expect it to be in March 2016. The company has not officially revealed any specifications or technical details about the car as well, but we have a good idea of what to expect after variants and features list of the model were leaked online earlier.
An extremely important product for Maruti Suzuki, the Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300 challenger will be offered in a total of 6 variants - LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi and ZDi+. Here is a look at all features, each of these variants offer.

LDi - The Maruti Vitara Brezza's base variant comes loaded with double barrel headlamps, bumper mounted turn indicators, 15-inch steel wheels and black body cladding which the automaker calls 'SUV body kit'. Inside the cabin, the entry-level trim gets front power windows, manual AC, tilt steering, electrically adjustable ORVMs, manual day/night IRVM, speed sensitive door locks, audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, dead pedal, engine immobilizer and much more. The SUV gets the driver side airbag as standard across the range.
LDi (O) - Positioned as the safety pack, the (O) trim on the LDi variant adds passenger airbag as well as ABS with EBD and front seatbelt pre-tensioner with force limiter to the model.
VDi - Adding some visual upgrades to the Vitara Brezza, the VDi trim gets a floating roof with blacked out pillars, black finished roof rails and skid plates; body coloured door handles and wheel covers. The cabin is upgraded with a gear shift indicator, keyless entry, rear power windows, rear parking sensors, electromagnetic tailgate, passenger vanity mirror, fabric lining and security alarm.
VDi (O) - Similar to the LDi (O) trim, this variant too adds dual airbags, ABS and EBD to the package.
ZDi - The top variant on the Maruti Vitara Brezza gets some very interesting additions including 215/60/R16 alloy wheels, gunmetal grey roof rails, silver finished skid plates, chrome grille, rear wiper and washer, projector headlamps with LED DRLs and fog lamps. Inside, you get auto climate control, piano black and aluminium finish across the cabin, height adjustable driver's seat, steering mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, mood light in speedometer, 60:40 split rear seats, chrome inside door handles, high-quality fabric seats, boot accessory socket among other bits.
ZDi+ - The range-topping trim adds auto headlamps and rain sensing wipers, electrically foldable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators and a dual paint option. The cabin features the SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Inbuilt navigation with Mapcare, reverse parking camera, push-button start, cruise control, cooled upper glovebox, and sliding front armrest. The safety features remain the same with dual airbags, ABS and EBD offered.

This also confirms that the Maruti Vitara Brezza will be sold via the automaker's regular dealerships. The sub-compact SUV will be available only with the 1.3-litre diesel engine initially, while a petrol could be offered later in the timeline.
