Mercedes-Benz India has launched the AMG GT R and the AMG GT Roadster in India at a price of Rs. 2.23 crore and 2.19 crore (ex-showroom, India) respectively. Both models are high performance cars. The AMG GT R recently broke the lap record for production street legal car at the Buddh International Circuit.
Mercedes-AMG GT R, better known as the 'Beast of the Green Hell' is all set to be launched in India today. The GT R is a step above the GT S that is currently sold in India. It is powered by a 4-litre bi-turbo V8 engine that makes 577 bhp and goes from 0-100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds.
