- The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is priced at Rs. 2.08 crore
- The Panamera Sport Turismo uses a 4-litre V8 engine with 550 bhp
- There's also the Panamera Sport Turbo S E-Hybrid priced at Rs. 2.38 crore
Porsche have officially opened bookings for the Panamera Sport Turismo in India. The Sport Turismo is essentially the wagon or shooting brake variant of the Porsche Panamera family and we think looks much much better than the sedan does today. The bookings of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo have been opened recently at an amount of Rs. 10 lakh at the time of configuring the car. Build slots for the Panamera Sport Turismo will be allotted to customers during the first week of January 2018 with an expected delivery time of about 5-6 months. The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo will be offered with two powertrain options including the standard Turbo and the Turbo S E-Hybrid. The standard Turbo will be priced at Rs. 2.08 Crore while the Turbo S E-Hybrid will be priced at Rs. 2.38 Crore.

The standard car will be offered with the twi n-turbo 4-litre V8 powerplant with 550 bhp and 770 Nm. The Panamera Sport Turismo will also feature the likes of optional rear wheel steering and optional carbon ceramic brakes. The more powerful Turbo S E-Hybrid on the other hand will feature the same 550 bhp V8 engine combined with a 126 bhp electric motor that takes the total power rating to a staggering 680 bhp and the torque to 850 Nm! While the Turbo gets from 0-100 in 3.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 304 kmph, the Turbo S E-Hybrid gets from 0-100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and on to a top speed 310 kmph! The E-Hybrid will also have an electric range of 49 km. Both the versions will be mated to an 8-speed PDK dual clutch gearbox.

The Sport Turismo, as we mentioned earlier, is essentially a wagon or shooting brake version of the standard sedan Panamera. The Sport Turismo is also more spacious as compared to the standard car with a proper 3-seater seating arrangement at the rear making it a 5 seater as compared to a 4 seater. The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo also features 50 litres of extra space in the boot.
