MG Motor India has registered its highest-ever retail sales in February 2021, at 4,329 units, recording a growth of 215 per cent compared to the corresponding month last year.

Maruti Suzuki India has released the sales numbers for the month of February 2021, during which the company's total domestic sales stood at 152,983 units, an 11.8 per cent growth compared to 136,849 vehicles the company sold during the same month in 2020.

India's largest exporter of two-wheelers, Bajaj Auto, reported 12 per cent growth in exports in February 2021, with overall two-wheeler sales registering 7 per cent growth.

The Renault Triber MPV is right now one of the best-selling models in the company's Indian line-up. Since its launch in August 2019, the company has sold over 67,000 units of the Triber, and around 37 per cent of the subcompact MPV's total sales come from the rural and non-urban markets.

Overall, the auto industry has recorded a growth of 4.97 per cent in January 2021 at 17,32,817 units as compared to 16,50,812 units sold in the same month a year ago.

The Nexa range has been contributing substantially to Maruti Suzuki's overall volumes and last year it added 2.3 lakh units to the overall sales.

The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), has released the monthly vehicle registration data for January 2021.

Yamaha Motor India reported its sales for January 2021 and the two-wheeler maker sold 55,151 units, registering a hike of 54 per cent as compared to 35,913 units that were sold in January 2020.
