Daimler India Commercial Vehicle (DICV) has reported its preliminary results for the calendar year 2020, during which it witnessed a 3.3 per cent increase in domestic market share.

Tata Motors has delivered 100 units of the newly launched Tata Safari SUV in Delhi NCR, on a single day. The company says it has received a staggering response for the new Tata Safari, and most of the demand is for the top-end XZA+ variant, whereas Royal Blue and Orcus White have been the colour of preference for many customers.

Home-grown commercial vehicle manufacturer, Ashok Leyland has released the monthly sales number for February 2021. Last month the company's total sales in the domestic market stood at 12,776 units, a healthy 20 per cent growth as compared to 10,612 vehicles the company sold a year ago in February 2020.

Royal Enfield's exports in February 2021 witnessed a whopping 94 per cent increase, although volumes are still low, at just 4,545 units.

Nissan India has sold a total of 4,244 vehicles in February 2021 which is majorly driven by its first subcompact SUV, the Nissan Magnite.

Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector has recorded a sales growth of 24 per cent in February 2021 at 27,170 units as compared to 21,877 units sold in the same month last year.

Mahindra and Mahindra today released the sales numbers for the month of February 2021. Last month, the company's passenger vehicle sale in the domestic market stood at 15,391 units, a good 41 per cent growth compared to the 10,938 vehicles the company sold a year ago, in February 2020.
