Aston Martin introduced the 2021 DBX in the country earlier this year in January. It is the brand's first-ever SUV in India which is priced at Rs. 3.82 crore (ex-showroom). The SUV comes to India as a completely built unit (CBU). The DBX sits alongside the Vantage, DB11 and DBS Superleggera in the carmaker's portfolio for the Indian market. The SUV was also crowned the Luxury SUV Of The Year at the 2021 CNB awards. Here are the top five highlights of the Aston Martin DBX.

1. The British carmaker says the 2021 Aston Martin DBX is underpinned by an all-new bonded aluminium platform, specially designed for this model. The DBX looks beefy yet very urban with aesthetics right on point. It comes with a Satan Solar Bronze body colour that changes shade in daylight.

2. Dimension-wise, the DBX measures 5039 mm in length, 2220 mm in width and 1680 mm in height, while the wheelbase stands at 3060 mm. It gets a and ground clearance of 190 mm.

3. The cabin is finished in dual-tone beige and indigo paint scheme with dual contrast stitching on the upholstery and Aston Martin logo on the seats' headrests. The central console is finished in piano black. There are several buttons on the central console to toggle driving modes and operate other functions along with a rotary dial and home buttons for the 10.25-inch TFT infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay.

4. As for features, the SUV comes loaded with heated and ventilated perforated seats, three-zone climate control, surround camera view, cruise control, panoramic glass roof, 64 ambient lighting, power-adjustable seats and steering wheel, 12.3-inch instrument cluster and more.

5. Under the hood of the Aston Martin DBX uses a Mercedes sourced 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 petrol motor. It puts out 535 bhp and 700 Nm of maximum power and comes mated to a nine-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.
