2015 Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne GTS Revealed

Porsche has unveiled the Cayenne GTS, ahead of its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Porsche calls it a sporty model as it features a Sport Design package that includes extended wheel arches and revised side skirts.
The ride height has also been reduced 20-24mm and the car sits tall on 20-inch alloy wheels. Then there is a sports exhaust system, high-performance brakes, additional body-colour accents and the Porsche Active Suspension Management system.
Changes to the car are not limited to the exterior as the interiors too see sport seats draped in leather and Alcantara and GTS-branded headrests.
Power is provided by a twin-turbo 3.6-litre V6 engine that produces 437bhp and 600 Nm of torque which is an increase of 18bhp and 85 Nm from the earlier version. This of course has a significant effect on the 0-100 km/h timings and it can do this in 5.2 seconds or 5.1 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package. Top speed stands at 262 km/h.
Porsche will introduce the entry-level Cayenne and it features the same engine as in the GTS; albeit less powerful with 298bhp. The engine is connected to a new eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission which enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds before topping out at 230 km/h.
