Official: Ford EcoSport Bookings Resumed

Ford India has now officially announced to have re-opened bookings for all variants of its sub-compact SUV, the Ford EcoSport. Though, Ford dealers never stopped it. We called a few Delhi NCR based dealers around 15 days back, and all of them were readily accepting bookings for the car, with a promise to deliver the cars once they get the next lot.

Launched in late 2013, the EcoSport has been a runaway success for Ford India, though the waiting period on some of its variants went upto 12 months due to production limit.

"With 50,000 EcoSports delivered, we have significantly reduced the waiting period and are pleased to extend the opportunity to book the Ford EcoSport to more customers," said Vinay Piparsania, Executive Director of Marketing Sales and Service at Ford India.

Recently, Ford India started offering "Signature" LED daytime running lights as an optional feature across all trims of the sub-compact SUV.
