What's New?

Suzuki’s V-Strom series of adventure bikes is expected to see a new addition to the lineup with the launch of the new V-Strom 1050 in India. The V-Strom 1050 will be sold in two variants, Standard and XT.

The standard variant is better suited for use on the road as it comes with alloy wheels, while the XT model is designed for off-road use as it comes with wire-spoke wheels. The motorcycle has a new design featuring LED lights, a short front beak, a tall front screen, and a full-digital instrument console. The Suzuki 1050 V-Strom is powered by a 1037 cc V-twin engine that is capable of producing 105.9 bhp of power and 100 Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a s9x-speed gearbox.

The XT model has unique features such as an adjustable seat and windscreen, cruise control and hill-hold control. Both models have KYB upside-down fork and preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. The brakes are 310mm twin discs with radially mounted Tokico Monobloc callipers at the front and a single disc at the rear. Both models have 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.

The V-Strom 1050 is expected to come in four colour options Yellow, White Red, Black Grey and White Black. Globally released in 2019, the V-Strom 1050 is likely to be launched in India by September 2023. The bike is anticipated to cost around Rs 14.4 lakh, while the XT variant is likely to cost nearly Rs 15 lakh, both ex-showroom. Once launched, the V-Strom 1050 will rival bikes like Honda CRF Africa Twin, BMW R 1250 GS and Triumph Tiger 900.

Other Upcoming Suzuki Models are the GSX-8R, V-Strom 800 DE, SV 650 and GSX-R1000R
