  TVS Outsells Honda In March 2019 Two-Wheeler Sales

  The two-wheeler sector is a highly competitive one in India and it has been erstwhile Hero MotoCorp and Honda 2Wheelers leading at the front in terms of sheer volumes. While Hero's lead remains undisputed, sales for March 2019 saw a twist with TVS Motor Company outselling Honda for the month. The Hosur-based company became the second best-selling manufacturer in March this year with 247,710 units sold, as against Honda's 222,325 units sold during the same period. The margin is a healthy 25,385 units between the companies.

The special model has been built to commemorate the Milan Design Week and gets a host of changes over the standard version to gather all the attention. The Ducati Diavel 1260 S Materico was conceptualised by a host of designers in the Volkswagen Group including Ducatis Andrea Ferraresi, Lamborghinis Mitja Borket, Pirelli R&D director Piero Misani and former VW design boss Walter De Silva. The one-off Diavel Materico gets upgrades to the styling and textures that includes the use of more sophisticated materials across the motorcycle.
