Audi TT and TT S Roadster Revealed

Audi has unveiled the 2015 TT & TT S Roadster, which follows the footsteps of the Coupe. The Roadster adopts a sportier exterior and a power folding fabric roof that is available in black, titanium gray or jive.
You can get the top down and back up in 10 seconds and it can be operated at speeds up to 50Km/h. Thanks to the use of aluminium and magnesium on the roof, Audi has managed to save close to 3Kg as compared to its predecessor.
However, the roof is not the only place that the company has managed to save weight. The TT Roadster rides on the MQB platform and features aluminum and ultra-high-strength components thus tipping the scales at just 1320Kg.
Now, let's talk about the engine options. The TT Roadster will be available with two turbocharged 4-cylinder engines - the 2.0-litre TFSI which produces 227bhp and develops 370Nm of torque, and the 2.0-litre TDI that puts out 180bhp and makes 380Nm of torque.
If you are the kinds that thinks that this power is not enough, then there is the TT S which comes with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine which churns out 308bhp and makes 380Nm torques. It enables the car to accelerate from 0-100Km/h in as little as 4.9 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top-speed of 250Km/h.
