Following up the launch of the 2019 Versys 650, India Kawasaki Motor (IKM) has introduced the 2019 Z900 street-fighter motorcycle. As it was with the 2019 Versys 650, the 2019 Kawasaki Z900 gets cosmetic changes largely restricted to the graphics for the new model year while retaining the same mechanicals. The price tag remains the same as well on the 2019 Z900 at Rs. 7.68 lakh (ex-showroom). The in-line four-cylinder motorcycle is now available in three colour options including metallic moondust grey/ebony, pearl flat stardust white/metallic spark black and metallic flat spark black/metallic spark black.

India Kawasaki Motor (IKM) has launched the 2019 edition of the Versys 650 in the country right in time for the festive season. The 2019 Kawasaki Versys 650 is priced at Rs. 6.69 lakh (ex-showroom), same as the current model on sale while there are no mechanical changes either on the new model year. What's new though is the paint scheme on the middleweight tourer with new black and green highlights for the front and rear section, while the fuel tank is finished in grey. The announcement comes just days after the Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT and the SWM Superdual adventure motorcycle were launched in India.

Jawa Motorcycles Unveil Date Announced

Resurrecting the brand name in India, the Mahindra Group owned Classic Legends Jawa Motorcycles announced its new 293 cc engine earlier this week and the company has now announced that its first motorcycle will be revealed on November 15, 2018. The new motorcycle has been developed from ground up by the Indian auto giant and is likely to be inspired from the yesteryear Jawas. Details though are scarce at the moment on the new bike from the manufacturer.

High Security Number Plates To Be Mandatory In Delhi From October 13

Delhi vehicle owners will now have to upgrade to high security number plates as early as tomorrow, October 13, 2018. Should the owners fail to upgrade their vehicle number plate to high security ones, they could be imposed a fine if Rs. 500 or even wore go to jail for three months. While new vehicles are already equipped with these high security registration plates, the move will largely affect old vehicle owners that have been running with regular plates. The Delhi transport department estimates this number to around 40 lakh vehicles including both four-wheelers and two-wheelers.

In a bid to offer better service to customers beyond its products, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced its new Honda Joy Club. The Joy Club is a digital customer loyalty programme and the first-of-its-kind for the two-wheeler industry in India. The programme is directed for both new and existing Honda two-wheeler customers, which can be availed for a price of Rs. 299 (excluding GST) that remains valid for a period of three years. The Honda Joy Club programme is intended to provide beyond just two-wheelers via Honda's partners across different categories and needs to be accessed via an app, available on both iOS and Android devices. The Joy Club programme will also be offered free of cost to new customers till November 30, 2018.
