Italian bike maker MV Agusta has pulled the wraps off the track focussed F3XX motorcycle. The MV Agusta F3XX track-spec offering is based on the F3 800 that is currently in production and has been developed by the manufacturer's racing division 'Reparto Corse.' Compared to the standard version, the F3XX is the mean cousin of the F3 800 and gets a host of upgrades including new parts, improved power output while lowering the kerb weight to its minimum. Moreover, the F3XX will be completely hand built making it all the more special to own and the motorcycle does retain the drool worthy looks of the production model, in an all-black avatar of course.

Flash Electronics Files Suit Against Royal Enfield For Patent Infringement; RE Refutes Claims
Domestic electronic and electric component maker Flash Electronics India Ltd has filed a law suit against motorcycle maker Royal Enfield in the US. The suit has been filed for patent infringement of the regulator rectifier device that Flash claims was its invention and has been blatantly used by RE on its vehicles. Royal Enfield though has refuted the claims by the electronics maker and released a statement saying that the said component is sourced from an independent supplier which independently develops and owns the IP rights of this component, and has denied these claims vehemently.

2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Launched; Priced At Rs. 1.71 Lakh
The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 ABS has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 1.65 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the second time Suzuki has returned to the quarter-litre space in India, after the very capable but expensive Suzuki Inazuma, which came with a parallel-twin engine. The Inazuma, despite being a solid product with a very smooth and refined engine, failed to achieve any commercial success. Suzuki did offer the Inazuma with a price correction, but it couldn't make any headway and had to be pulled off the market. The new Gixxer SF 250 will be the second shot from Suzuki at the 250 cc space, and this time around the pricing is more in tune with the current crop of 250 cc bikes available in the market, and the Gixxer 250 comes well-specced to take on the competition too.
