An official of India Kawasaki Motors (IKM) has told CarandBike that increasing localistaion of Kawasaki engines in India at this stage doesn't make a good business case. India Kawasaki currently imports the bikes and engines from its manufacturing facility in Thailand, just like Triumph and Ducati
