Hyundai Motor India today released the monthly sales numbers for June 2021, during which the company registered total sales (domestic + exports) of 54,474 units. Compared to May 2021, when the company sold 30,703 units cumulatively, Hyundai witnessed a month-on-month (MoM) growth of over 77 per cent.

Mercedes-Benz India is also targeting a year-on-year (YoY) growth of over 50 Per Cent in H1 2021, courtesy all the new launches the German brand has slated for this year.

Tata Motors has recorded a strong 111 per cent sales growth in June 2021 and the robust uptick is primarily attributed to sales picking up owing to the pent up demand after the second wave of COVID crisis along with a low base last year.

Maruti Suzuki India has released the monthly sales numbers for June 2021, during which the company's total sales (domestic + exports) stood at 147,368 units. This includes the cumulative domestic sale of 130,348 units and exports of 17,020 units.

Nissan India released its sales figures for June 2021, selling 3,503 units last month, which is a growth of 508 per cent over 576 units sold in June 2020.

Mercedes-Benz India, which launched the EQC electric SUV last year, doesn't want to stop with one model, and plan to launch more electric vehicles in the country in the coming years.

MG Motor India sold 3,558 units in June 2021, which is a 250 per cent growth from 1,016 units sold in May 2021. MG said that the phased unlocking helped it get increased enquiries and bookings.

Mercedes-Benz's digital platform, which was launched last year in April, has shown a decent contribution towards its over sales in India. The carmaker has confirmed that 20 per cent of its sales come from the 'Merc From Home' platform.
