Corrit Electric Set To Launch Its First Electric Bike

- Hover Scooter will have top speed of 25 kmph and range of 110 km
- Designed for teenagers in age group of 12-18 years
- Limited speed scooter does not require driver's licence
Corrit Electric, a brand new electric mobility brand will launch its first ever electric bike, the Hover Scooter by the end of October 2021, the company has announced. The Hover Scooter will be first launched in Delhi, followed by other cities like Mumabi, Bengaluru and Pune in the first phase. Corrit Electric is currently taking pre-bookings for the bike at Rs. 1100 and will start deliveries by November 25, 2021. According to the company, the bike is designed for teenagers and for tourists at popular tourist destinations.

The Hover Scooter has been designed for teenagers and for use by tourists in popular destinations. The electric scooter has a top speed of 25 kmph and range of 100 km, and will not require a driver's licence or registration.
The two-seater bike has been designed for consumers in the age group of 12-18 years and has load carrying capacity of 250 kg, dual disc brakes, tubeless tyres and dual shock absorbers for a smooth and safe ride. The Hover Scooter will have a range of 110 km with a top speed of 25 kmph, so will not require a driver's licence or registration.
Mayur Misra, Co-Founder, Corrit Electric said, "With the launch of Hover, our first electric bike, we aim at providing sustainable, environment friendly and convenient commuting options for teenagers. My team and I observed a huge gap in India's vast automobile sector and observed that there was a scarcity of personal vehicle options for teenagers, hence, the idea of introducing Hover incepted. We are the only brand in the country at the moment who is introducing an electric scooter specifically for the school going kids between the age groups of 12-17 years. Our goal is to make commute for teenagers convenient, smoother and hassle-free."

The Corrit Electric Hover Scooter will be launched in different colours and will even be customisable.
The Hover Scooter will be launched in different colours, including red, yellow, blue, pink, purple, black and can even be customised according to the customer's individual requirement. Corrit Electric will provide payment options like purchasing with upfront payments or buy using a loan. One can also take the bike on lease for as long as they want to. The Hover Scooter also comes with a buy-back option at an assured value after three years. In the first phase of launch, the Hover Scooter will be launched in select cities, and in the second phase, the brand intends to expand sales to other cities in early 2022.
