Ford Everest concept - the next-gen Endeavour revealed!

"When is the next-generation Ford Endeavour coming?" is the question all the Endeavour lovers in India are asking for quite a long time now. But they might have to wait till 2015 to get to see the new-gen model of this oldest-of-the-lot SUV. However, Ford India might launch a mildly facelift version of the SUV in 2013.
If looked at the recent sales of Ford Endeavour, this has been the worst performer for the American automaker in India, with only 330 units sold in last six months (Sep to Feb 2013). So, the sales numbers too suggest an urgent need of the next-gen Ford Endeavour. (Also read: All-new Ford Fiesta coming by mid 2014)

Know what all compact SUVs will be launched in India
Now when the 2015 Endeavour has made its ASEAN debut as the 'Everest' concept at the 2014 Bangkok Motor Show, we know the changes (At least the design) the new-gen model has received. The 2015 Endeavour receives a new trapezoidal grille with heavy chromes and headlights in swept-back design. Also, seen is the silver coloured skid plate, extending to create the fog lamp housing. At the rear, the tail lights are attached to a chrome strip with 'Everest' written on it.
Though there are heavy design changes, the new-gen Everest carries the same Ranger's ladder frame chassis. The company hasn't yet disclosed the engine specs, but we expect the next-gen model to come up with the existing engine options, when it comes to India.
